The Trail of the Lonesome Pine is a lost 1923 American silent drama film directed by Charles Maigne. Second film on which cameraman James Wong Howe made his reputation by lighting star Mary Miles Minter (in her final film). Specifically Howe made her blue eyes register on orthochromatic film with a filter.[1] It is based on the novel of the same name.
